Vintage 14K Gold Opal & Diamond Cocktail Ring

 

This striking cocktail ring features an oval-shaped Ethiopian opal cabochon and six full-cut diamonds set in 14k yellow gold. It’s a great unisex ring with a bold, geometric design. The lattice work on the inside of the band allows for a large ring without excessive weight. The ring is still hefty at 21.6 grams.

The Ethiopian opal cabochon is orange, green, and yellow and has excellent light play. When it catches the light there are specks of neon orange that add a pop of color and dimension to the stone. The opal measures 14.25 x 12.30 by 8.32mm and weighs approximately 5.30 carats. The 6 full-cut diamonds are 3.5mm each and together weigh approximately 1.00 carats. They have an average color of “G-H” and an average clarity of “I”. This ring is a size 8 and can be resized.
