Victorian 14K Gold Etruscan Revival Bypass Bracelet

This elegant 14K gold Etruscan Revival bypass bracelet has components of Architectural Revival—a subset of Etruscan Revival that stylistically leans towards building-like elements and geometric shapes. This particular bracelet features a square centerpiece, which measures 1/2” across, decorated with lovely twisted wirework and gold ball beading. The end caps of the bypass reference corinthian capitals and have intricate granulation. The gold has a nice patina that gives it warm tones and a rosy hue. 

The bracelet, circa 1880’s, is in very good condition. It consists of a sturdy hollow tube with a push clasp to open and close, plus a safety chain for added security. 

The piece weighs 11 grams. The interior measurement is 6.5 inches, with an interior west to east measurement of 2 1/4 inches.
