14K Gold & Ruby Victorian Inspired Signature Rabbit Pendant-Charm

This is a precious 14k gold medallion charm from Kirsten’s Corner signature “Cute as a Button” collection. It is handcrafted and molded from a Victorian-era button and features a portrait of a rabbit. The face has striking ruby eyes that offer a nice touch of color to the 14k golden backdrop. The ruby measures 1.5 mm and the entire pedant has a 14.5 mm diameter. This piece has a nice weight, 4 grams, allowing it to hang well.  

Button charms were a fad in the Victorian era and thought of as "memory strings". They are a unique way to add personal meaning and symbolism to fashion.
