21K Gold Etruscan Revival Bead & 14K Gold Chain Necklace

This is a 21k gold Etruscan Revival bead strung on a 14k chain. The bead is handmade dating to the 1880s. It has incredible cannetille wirework. When viewed up close, there is a repeating pattern of several small twisted wire circles surrounding a gold bead centerpiece. This design creates nice detailed texture. The high karat gold of the ball has a warm, deep golden tone, and the chain, though 14k, is an almost identical match to the ball's hue. The chain measures 17 1/2" but has a pull tab that allows it to be adjusted to any length. The bead is 9.47mm and the entire necklace weighs 2.3 grams. This is an elegant piece that looks great alone or stacked with other necklaces.
