Art Nouveau 18K Gold Frog Pendant / Charm with Diamond

This is a beautifully realistic 18 karat gold pendant medallion of a frog on a lily pad. Made around 1900 in the Art Nouveau period this adorable frog is outstretched on the leaves of a water lily.  The circular charm is just over 1/2" in diameter including the generous bail it measure 7/8".  The detail of the frog is impeccable and the open reticulation of the piece brings it to life. There is a 2mm old mine cut diamond bezel set that is bright and lively adding just the right amount of sparkle.

The 5mm bail will accommodate a variety of chains. This could be either a pendant or a charm on a bracelet. 18K gold, weights 2.6 grams.
