Edwardian 9K Gold Hand Engraved Heart Padlock

This Edwardian 9k gold heart padlock makes a perfect pendant or closure for a bracelet or necklace. It is hand engraved with a sweet scrolling foliate, and the padlock opens and closes with a nice click. The lock has adorable features that are meant to indicate the mechanical aspects of a larger lock: a keyhole in the center of the heart and tiny hand engraved screws around the edges. Heart padlocks are used to symbolize “locking in love,” a sentiment seen here in this beautiful antique charm.
