Mid-Century Modern Platinum Diamond Baguette Ring/ Band

This classic mid-century modern ring would have originally been used as a wedding band. Today it pairs well with platinum bands from the 1950’s, or is a great piece for the current jewelry trend of stacking bands. The platinum band features three baguette diamonds, all held in a pretty carriage that raises them up. The center diamond is a standard baguette; the two side diamonds are truncated. The rows of facets within the diamonds create lines of sparkle that flash in the light. 

The center diamond measures 5.3 x 2 mm; the side diamonds measure 4 x 1.85 mm, tapering down to 1 mm. The ring’s total carat weight is 0.25 carats. The diamonds are G-H in color and VS2 in clarity. 

The ring weighs 2.97 grams. The band is 2.8 mm at its widest point on top and 1.8 mm at its narrowest point. Marked on the interior as platinum.
