Victorian 18K Gold Diamond and Ruby Horseshoe Pendant

This 18k gold horseshoe pendant is sure to bring you luck! It is well rendered in 18k gold, detailed at the top and bottom with the three-dimensional elements of a true-to-life horseshoe. It features seven stones—alternating diamonds and rubies—symbolic of nails and representative of lucky number 7. All of the stones are antique and are versions of Old Mine Cuts, with high tables and squared off shapes. The sides of the horseshoe have a nice latticework profile, indicative of the Victorian era. Originally a stickpin, we removed the pin and added a nice sized oval bail to allow the piece to hang on a chain. It is a great size for a pendant, perfect alone on a chain or stacked with other charms. 

The pendant contains four natural antique diamonds and three natural antique rubies, all Old Mine Cuts.

The diamonds are H/I in color and VS2- SL1 in clarity.

The horseshoe measures 5/8” x 11/16” with a 5 x 7 mm bail. It weighs 2.18 grams. Unmarked but acid tests as 18k.
