Vintage 14K Gold Old European Cut Diamond Necklace

This 14k gold diamond necklace is a classic everyday piece and a great staple for any jewelry collection. The Old European Cut diamond has a lot of sparkle—its facets create excellent light play that pops when worn. The bezel setting is simple and the width of the chain balances the diamond well. This is a vintage piece, circa 1990’s, that contains a much older antique diamond. The perfect combination of old and new.

The natural antique diamond is Old European Cut, VS2 in clarity and I-J in color. It measures 5 mm across and weighs approximately .4 of a carat. 

The chain measures 16 1/4”. It is marked 14k, ITALY, and with the maker’s mark “Fancy”. The necklace weighs 2.8 grams.
