Vintage Hector Aguilar Taxco 980 Silver Earrings

A classic vintage Hector Aguilar, Taxco 980 silver earrings.  These are square earrings with the signature three-bead design. Hector Aguilar (1905-1986) began working for the famous William Spratling silversmith in 1936 and soon after left to start his own workshop in 1939. These are screw-on earrings that have all the markings from the original maker's marks such as HA and TAXCO and the silver standard.  They measure approximately 5/8 inches high X 3/4 inches. They weigh approximately 11 grams. They are a lovely vintage Mexican pair of earrings, perfect to add a mid-century look to any dress. In great condition, circa 1950s.
