14K Gold Emerald Cut Tanzanian Garnet Pendant

Sourced in Tanzania, this 1.25 carat garnet has a magical sparkle. It has a beautiful red color and the cut of the stone picks up a lot of reflections—giving the stone vibrancy and fire. The stone is a garnet, but it reads more like a ruby, with a lot of sparkle and a lighter shade of red than is seen in the average garnet. It is mounted in a simple four talon prong setting with an oval bail. Ready to hang on the chain of your choice. 

The natural garnet measures 6.55 x 6.3 for a TCW of 1.25 carats. The bail is 5 x 7 mm. The pendant weighs 1.04 grams. Unmarked but acid tests as 14k gold.
