The Story
These beautiful French coral ball dangle earrings remind one of a summers day. Two graduated slightly flattened balls dangle from a Euro wire like ripe melon balls luscious and sweet. The larger bottom ball 13mm in diameter and the small ball on top is 10mm. They are attached with a gold star that pierces through to the other side with a curved gold mount. Having several junction points these earrings offer lively movement. The top jump ring of larger balls has a French Eagle head hallmark for 18K gold also dating these to around 1870.
The length of the earring from top of the Euro wire to bottom is 1 7/8. They combined weight of the pair of earrings is 9.4 grams. They are in excellent antique condition. The coral is a beautiful saturated salmon color.
