14K Gold Victorian Inspired Signature Running Rabbit Pendant-Charm with Ruby Eye

This is a precious 14k gold medallion charm from Kirsten’s Corner signature “Cute as a Button” collection. It is handcrafted from a Victorian era button and features a profile view of a jumping rabbit against a honeycomb background. The rabbit has a .5 mm bead set ruby for an eye, as an added touch! The pedant has a 14.5 mm diameter and a nice weight, 4.2 grams, which allows it to hang well. 

Button charms were a fad in the Victorian era and thought of as "memory strings". They are a unique way to add personal meaning and symbolism to fashion.
