Vintage 18K Gołd Cartier Shirt Collar Pin with Sapphire Cabochon

This is a very particular piece of jewelry that would dress up a shirt collar, ideal for a special occasion. The gold bar is designed to go through the button holes on each collar, spanning across the shirt to hold the collars in place. At each end is a sapphire cabochon held in a ribbed cylinder element—one of which unscrews. The sapphires are a pretty deep blue hue that pops against the gold. This is a special piece—a rare find for the very best dressed. And if you just can’t pass up a piece of vintage Cartier, we’ve also pictured the pin styled as a charm holder or a chain extender. 

The piece measures 2 7/16” across; the end pieces are 3/16” across. The natural sapphire cabochon is 2.5 mm across. It weighs 3.5 grams. Marked as Cartier and 18k gold.
