Circa the Victorian era, this 9K rose gold watch chain necklace has a classic t-bar in the center and swivel dog clips on each end. The t-bar divides the chain into two sections, and the curb links graduate in size, swelling at the center of each section. The chain has a nice rosy hue with a beautiful patina. The t-bar can be worn at either the front or back of the necklace and pendants can be clipped into the dog clips for a variety of looks.
The chain is marked on every link with the 9k gold marks of 9 and 375. The t-bar is marked with the maker’s mark H.S. (for Harris Samuel Ltd., a mark seen from 1887-1890), 9, 375, and the anchor mark for Birmingham. The dog clips are each marked with H.S., 9, and 375.
