Vintage 22K Gold Flattened Double-Link Long 24.5” Chain

This extra long Bismark chain is handmade in 22k gold and consists of a flattened double link. The gorgeous 24.5” chain has a classic design and the deep buttery golden tone that higher karat gold is known for. The Bismark link is made from layered jump rings, flattened into an X-like design with great fluidity and visual texture.

The chain is 24.5” long and 2.1 mm wide, the perfect length for stacking in a neck mess or for a heavier pendant worn low on the neckline. We also have a similar Bismark chain in a longer length in our shop that pairs beautifully with this piece.

The necklace has a shepherds hook clasp that is marked with a Middle Eastern mark that we weren’t able to identify. It is also marked with 9916 for 22k and the maker’s mark S.S.

The chain weighs 10.75 grams. It is a vintage piece circa 1980’s or 90’s.
