This is an incredible antique watch fob that can double as a fashionable pendant!
This Georgian-era piece is made out of 12kt gold and carnelian. The carnelian is free from engraving and a beautiful orange hue. The carnelian is bezel set within the fob’s mount. The rectangular carnelian measures to be 13.45 mm by 11.50 mm. Although this piece is unmarked I have tested it as 12kt gold. The fob’s mount is typical of a Georgian era piece. In the Georgian period watch fobs were very detailed an elaborate compared to watch fobs of the Victorian era. This fob has fantastic engraved lines and swirling details. This piece weighs 6.55 grams and is approximately 1 inch in length and 1/2 an inch in width.
This antique makes an eye-catching pendant and the generous bale makes it easy to hang on the chain of your choice.
