The Story

This elaborate gold cased Georgian watch key fob is ready to hang on a chain of your choice! The key has nice proportions, is short and squat in shape, with a border of flowing foliate that wraps around the key on both sides. The foliate is hand-engraved, and picks up a lovely patina that emphasizes the artistic qualities of the handwork. Once a key to wind a watch, now a key to your heart.

The swivel top brings movement to the key. The top is solid gold, while the body of the key is gold case. The key weighs 3.6 grams and is 1 3/8” tall, 5/8” wide.

Circa 1820.
